Rudyard Kipling

BIOGRAPHY
RUDYARD  KIPLING

He was an  ________ short-story writer, poet and novelist. He is chiefly
remember for his tales and poems of British soldiers in India and his  tales
for ________ . He ______   ______ in Bombay, on the 30th of December 1865

He was taken by his family to England when he was _______ years old. Kipling is best known for his works of fiction, including “____ ________ _________”,“ ______ ___ _______”, “_______” , many short stories, including “_______ _______ _______ _______ ______ _______” and his poems including “Mandalay”, “Gunga Din” and “_____”. He is regarded as a major innovator in the art of the short story, his children´s books are enduring classics of children´s literature.

In 1907, he was awarded ____  ______  ____   in Literature, making him the first English-language writer to receive the prize. Among other honours, he was sounded out for the British Poet Laureateship and on several occasions for a knighthood all of which he declined.

On 18th of January 1936, Kipling died at the age of 70.
